Semi-Annual Air-Cooled 8kw to 24kw
Semi-Annual Inspections – Two visits per year.
Six Month Inspection:
- Check oil & filter
- Check spark plugs
- Check hoses for leakage & pliability
- Check unit for fuel or oil leakage
- Check and adjust fan & governor belts
- Service battery: clean post, check voltage
- Check & adjust engine valves
- Service battery: clean post, check voltage
- Check charging rate of battery charger
- Replace battery if needed (additional cost)
- Check AC voltage
- Check engine speed/frequency
- Inspect for rodent infestation – clean & seal pipes/holes to prevent re-infestation (additional charge may apply)
- Test safety shut downs
- Wipe down enclosure & engine compartment
- Submit inspection report on invoice
- Leave unit in “auto” position
Yearly Inspection:
- Replace oil & filter
- Replace spark plugs

- Coolant testing
- Check unit for fuel or oil leakage
- Check and adjust fan & governor belts

- Replace battery if needed (additional cost)

Very easy and quick installation. Get this: RCA was going to activate the generator on Thursday, 7/30. We had a tropical storm coming at us on Tuesday, 7/28. This was a very difficult installation with many obstacles and somehow they were able to find solutions to complete the installation by crawling under a very narrow space under the deck on a raining day and drilled through concrete wall to run the cable. When we were told the crew would be at our house at 8 am, they were actually here at 7:55….twice. Installation was completed in one day. Flawless – from beginning to end, from initial visit through installation. The crew was professional and respectful. The office staff was a step ahead throughout the process. And I can confirm the system works as it should – we had a major snowstorm where the power was out for 23 hours, and our system started up immediately and saw us through the entire storm.
Fantastic Customer Service
Just got my generator installed 2/4/17. Blizzard hit 2/9/17 around Noon. Power out by 4pm. Generator kicked right on!! Around 6pm – Generator quit running. Called Donna and within 15 minutes – Ben was at my door!! He changed the air filter that was caked in snow and ice and had the generator back up in less than 5 minutes. It continued to run for the rest of the storm. My power was restored at 3:30 AM on 2/10/17. And as a bonus – Ben plowed my driveway!! Now that’s GREAT customer Service!!
